I’ve always been picky about which skincare products I use. My skin tends to be dry and sensitive around my cheeks but oily in the T zone so I have to be careful with what products I use. Since I am in my thirties, I am also more concerned about using a product to combat the signs of aging. Recently, I visited COS BAR in Market Street, here in The Woodlands to check out their luxury skincare. Be sure to check out the bottom of this post for details on the Market Street Blogger Crawl Aug 3rd!
One thing I love about The Woodlands/Houston is all of the events! There arealways so many things going on. A couple weeks ago, was Wine & Food Week in The Woodlands, TXand H-E-B hosted a Wine Walk throughout Market Street! It was SO much fun and the perfect girl’s night. Not only was there a ton of food and wine, but even the stores had wine inside of them! (I could get used to that!)I had no idea, but apparently this is a yearly thing – so next year if you live this way, you should definitely check it out. I know I will be back for sure!
This past weekend my daughter Camilla celebrated her 2nd birthday and it was all I could do to keep it together at the thought of my baby growing one year closer to leaving me one day for some boy. Nevertheless the birthday princess needed a party and what’s more she needed to look good for it! To know Cami is to know that she LOVES all things Minnie Mouse, so a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party was a no-brainer.
If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love spa treatments. I am pretty much open to trying anything once. Glo Sun Spa in Market Street The Woodlands asked me to collaborate with them and I thought Yeah! I love a great spray tan, why not. I decided to take a look at their site and saw that Glo offered so much more than just spray tans.
Happy Hump Day y’all! Today I’m sharing this look from Trina Turk with you guys! It’s funny, I’m usually a sucker for neutrals, but something happens when I walk into a Trina Turk store. It’s like all of a sudden I’m into bright pinks and turquoises, especially in the spring and summer!
Change is hard for a lot of people. I know that sounds cliché but it’s kind of just a fact of life. I know for a certain relative of mine who will remain nameless the stress of something new effects her in the form of fever blisters, neck or back spasms, and/or a cold! For a handful of others change is a welcomed fact of life that is moderately easy to embrace. I think that I fall in with the latter when it comes to a lot of new experiences, mainly because #yolo! Lately however a lot of changes have been happening in my life all at once. Perhaps it is because we just hit a season change and Spring signifies new beginnings! I am newly pregnant again and recently found out that I will be having a boy. This is mind blowing to me because coming from a family of all girls, I know nothing about boys! New business opportunities are knocking on my husband and I’s front door not to mention new opportunities to grow as a writer and blogger. I don’t proclaim to have it all figured out in the area of change but I can offer you 3 ways that I try to welcome it.
Hey Y’all! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! John and I went to Lafayette, Louisiana for Easter this year to spend time with his Aunt and cousins. We were only there for a couple days, but we had the BEST time. Our weekend consisted of a crawfish boil, the coolest coffee shop ever, shopping, exploring the cutest little neighborhood ( totally wish I lived in one of these adorable homes!) & we finished the weekend with dinner, live music, and drinks at Sugar Fest where I wore this super cute, flowy dress from Madewell in Market Street – The Woodlands. It was my favorite outfit from the entire weekend, so you know I had to share!
Hi Gang! Summer is officially on it’s way and I can’t wait to show you the best sunglasses for women this season. I partnered with Sunglass Hut in Market Street The Woodlands to show you the hottest styles and most universally flattering shapes. I think we can all agree that sunglasses are a must have accessory. Besides protecting our eyes from the suns rays, sunglasses also hide a multitude of sins. Can we say dark circles and no eye makeup?!?
