Trina Turk Off the Shoulder Top

Happy Hump Day y’all! Today I’m sharing this look from Trina Turk with you guys! It’s funny, I’m usually a sucker for neutrals, but something happens when I walk into a Trina Turk store. It’s like all of a sudden I’m into bright pinks and turquoises, especially in the spring and summer!

3 Ways To Embrace Change And Do It In Style

Bertuzzi-Photography-016-4

Change is hard for a lot of people.  I know that sounds cliché but it’s kind of just a fact of life.  I know for a certain relative of mine who will remain nameless the stress of something new effects her in the form of fever blisters, neck or back spasms, and/or a cold!  For a handful of others change is a welcomed fact of life that is moderately easy to embrace.  I think that I fall in with the latter when it comes to a lot of new experiences, mainly because #yolo!  Lately however a lot of changes have been happening in my life all at once. Perhaps it is because we just hit a season change and Spring signifies new beginnings! I am newly pregnant again and recently found out that I will be having a boy.  This is mind blowing to me because coming from a family of all girls, I know nothing about boys!  New business opportunities are knocking on my husband and I’s front door not to mention new opportunities to grow as a writer and blogger.  I don’t proclaim to have it all figured out in the area of change but I can offer you 3 ways that I  try to welcome it.

Floral Dress & Lafayette Trip Recap

Screen Shot 2017-04-19 at 1.42.10 PM

Hey Y’all! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! John and I went to Lafayette, Louisiana for Easter this year to spend time with his Aunt and cousins. We were only there for a couple days, but we had the BEST time. Our weekend consisted of a crawfish boil, the coolest coffee shop ever, shopping, exploring the cutest little neighborhood ( totally wish I lived in one of these adorable homes!) & we finished the weekend with dinner, live music, and drinks at Sugar Fest where I wore this super cute, flowy dress from Madewell in Market Street – The Woodlands. It was my favorite outfit from the entire weekend, so you know I had to share!

Summer is officially on it’s way and I can’t wait to show you the best sunglasses for women this season.  I partnered with Sunglass Hut in Market Street The Woodlands to show you the hottest styles and most universally flattering shapes.  I think we can all agree that sunglasses are a must have accessory.  Besides protecting our eyes from the suns rays, sunglasses also hide a multitude of sins.  Can we say dark circles and no eye makeup?!?

5 Tips To Traveling On A Budget And In Style

Bertuzzi-Photography-021-10
In the past 4 months Cameron and I have been to 2 countries and 6 cities over-seas.  Thanks to a team of wonderful babysitters (shout out to you mom and dad and Aunt Sissy and Uncle Chris, whoop whoop!) and some pretty awesome travel deals we were able to ride camels in Jerusalem and ride gondolas in Venice. Although it’s been amazing to see the world, there’s no place like home!  Through my travels I have learned along the way on how to do it without breaking the budget and how to do it in style.  With a recent trip to Lucky Brand on Market Street in the Woodlands I gathered inspiration on traveling on a budget and in style.

For my travel look I went with something that was super comfortable that can go from a long flight to dinner off of the Amalfi Coast. In my Lucky Brand Lolita Capris comfort is king with their worn-in feel. On top I paired the light pink jean with a flowy pinstripe top (similar) with sleeves that can be rolled up or down, perfect for colder flights.  On foot, suede block heels (similar) that are comfortable enough for a stroll on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.  The thing that I love about shopping at Lucky Brand is that when you are looking for style and comfort, the whole store fits the bill.  You can’t go wrong with this SoCal brand that oozes chill.
